Special BCS exam soon
A special Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination under Public Service Commission (PSC) will be held soon only for freedom fighters' dependents, women and indigenous people.
Circular of the special 32nd BCS examination will be issued in a few days, says a PSC statement, adding that the draft of the circular was approved in a meeting of the commission.
The professional and technical cadre posts left vacant during the 28th and 29th BCS examinations will be filled through this examination.
As many as 1,483 posts were left vacant in the 28th and 29th BCS examinations due to a lack of suitable candidates in freedom fighters' dependents, women, indigenous and professional categories, said sources.
