SUB Orientation At State University Of Bangladesh

The orientation for the newly enrolled graduate students of fall semester 2011 was held at State University of Bangladesh (SUB) in the city recently. About 300 students and faculty members of all the departments were present on the occasion, says a press release. Prof GM Chowdhury, director, IBA, University of Dhaka, was present as the chief guest while Prof Dr Iftekhar Ghani Chowdhury, vice chancellor of State University of Bangladesh, presided over the programme. Speaking on the occasion, GM Chowdhury underscored the need for quality education in all private universities. He hoped that the State University of Bangladesh will be able to provide quality education to the students so that they can meet with success in their life. Major General (retd) Dr M Shahjahan, treasurer and advisor, School of Health Sciences, Dr Nazrul Islam, dean of School of Business and Social Studies, and Prof AYM Ekram-ud Daullah, registrar of SUB, also spoke.
